What email verification actually costs#
Let me show you what happens behind the curtain.
Email verification isn't rocket science. Your server opens a TCP connection to port 25, sends EHLO, MAIL FROM, RCPT TO. The mail server responds with 250 (exists) or 550 (doesn't exist).
That's the entire technology behind every "premium" service.
The real costs:
